When you travel you meet the most interesting characters–like George the anteater. I’m a longtime travel and lifestyle writer/editor. My work has appeared in national and regional print publications, digital travel sites and books including Volume 11 of The Best Women’s Travel Writing and A Mother’s World, Journeys of the Heart. I cover Denver restaurants, hotels and attractions for USA Today10best and have created photo essays for 10best based on my travels to Jordan, Iceland, England, Japan, Panama, South Moravia and Africa. I serve on the board of SATW, Society of American Travel Writers, and I’ve written 17 children’s books (two still in print) because editors frown on rhyming in travel articles.
